Sam 7.0 - West of the Pecos

We have been living in Carlsbad New Mexico for the last two years, home to the Carlsbad Caverns and Gateway to the Guadalupe Mountains. The caverns are a World Heritage Site and celebrated 100 years in the National Park system.

Sam celebrated his 70th birthday with a swim at the San Solomon Springs in Balmorhea SP and a baseball game in Alpine.

Below is a map of the semi-pro Pecos League teams. Carlsbad is between Roswell and Pecos.

Sul Ross University is in Alpine. The Museum of the Big Bend on the campus has recently expanded.

On the way home we passed by the Blue Origin launch site. I hope to be able to become a space tourist and be aboard a future flight before my 90th birthday.

We always enjoy this view of El Capitan and the Guadalupe Mountains on our return trips.
