Checked off a couple of bucket list to-dos. Starting with a stay in what used to be known as Hot Springs New Mexico. Currently it is named Truth or Consequences, or T or C in local lingo.

Came with a Canoe. We did not turn it over in case
something scary ran out.

Adobe chapel west of Balmorhea, TX open every
day to stop and say a prayer.
Have been to Balmorhea State Park and the San Solomon Springs multiple times and posted blogs. The purpose of this trip, besides a refreshing swim and soak, was to stay in the renovated motor lodge. Here is Sam's F150 parked in front of room 7. The original motor court had a carport next to each room.
The springs produce enough water to travel through a canal system to Lake Balmorhea on the other side of town and irrigate a good portion of the south end of Reeves County.
