One of my favorite water features along the Riverwalk

This mural of "Rock of Ages" a formation in the caverns is painted on a local grocery "La Tienda".

The shopping basket lower right is real, everything else is painted, there are no real people depicted.

Piñatas' are sold in the grocery as seen below,

He was a rancher who "discovered" and explored the caverns, and is largely responsible for them now being a world class destination.

There are pontoon boats for river cruising or trikes if you prefer a self paced tour.

The Pecos River and its attractions are open year round.

Tours of the caverns must be booked at least one day in advance.
