Traveled to Huntsville today - home of the State Penitentiary and host to all state executions. Also the home of Sam Houston. We got here too late to visit the 67 foot high statue and museum but the grave site is in Oakwood Cemetery which is open until dark. A lot of very early graves here.
Hopefully we can get by the museum before leaving town tomorrow. I don't really have an interest in the Texas Prison Museum.
