Leaving Coleman we headed on to Mineral Wells/Weatherford area for a visit to the Clark Gardens. These are private botanical gardens started by Max and Billie Clark. He made his money by inventing a trenching tool used in laying fiber optic lines. Lastly a picnic dinner at Lake Mineral Wells State Park then home.
