Sorry it took so long to get this uploaded. From here we went to Rockport for a couple of days. Apparently Verizon rather than AT&T rules the airwaves there.
Traveled on to La Grange, TX and enjoyed picnic lunch at Monument Hill/Kreische Brewery. Monument Hill holds the hallowed remains of men who died in the Texas war for independence from Mexico. In the 1840s, after the Battle of the Alamo and Battle of San Jacinto, there was the Dawson Massacre and the Black Bean Death Lottery.
The Kreische house and brewery are only open for guided tours on the weekend, but we were able to learn about the family and the brewery through the visitors' center.
