DO NOT SHARE WITH ANYONE PLEASE!
After lunch at Monument Hill we drove on to Victoria, TX - home of Shiner Beer. We had missed the last tour but there is a brief video on the gift shop about the history of the small Spoetzl Brewery and you can have 4 3oz beer tastings for free. Sam is a long time fan of the original brew, Shiner Bock. I like the Shiner Blond but find that very few bars carry it. Stayed overnight at the new La Quinta with a lovely view of a shack and chicken yard. "God is Great, Beer is Good, and People are Crazy" (Billy Currington)
