Next stop: Pecos, TX. Home of Pecos Bill, the armadillo. It is in the Pecos River Valley on the eastern edge of the Chihuahuan Desert. Check out earlier blog posts for our trips to the Ft. Davis area and the Chihuahuan Desert Research Center. Population of Pecos is under about 8600.
