Carlsbad Caverns National Park, Carlsbad, NM

There is no way photos can do this place justice. Make plans to visit! You travel down 750' below the surface, either walking/hiking or by elevator. A steady 56 degrees but no wind so it is not as cool as you would think. Humidity is high though so expect fuzzy hair.

This is a close to serious caving as I get.

This model in the visitor's center let's you
see all that has been found underground.

There's a 9 mile scenic travel to drive down into the
mountain valley. Vanna and I taking in the view.

Majestic.

Lest you not believe the signs about falling rock
there is this fine example at one of the overlooks.
