Hiking at Longhorn Cavern State Park

This was a day a month ago that we went out for a hike. It was sunny at home but 30 minutes down the road we drove into clouds. Still, other than a few sprinkles we had a nice hiking day and met some folks from Kansas City enjoying our mild winter.

Note: Karst is a geological term for an area of land that is underlaid by limestone. As it weathers the limestone erodes created fissures, holes, and other interesting formations.



His happy place is getting that itch between the horns scratched.
