Down in The Valley for Thanksgiving - Part 1

For Thanksgiving we decided to head to south Texas where the birds migrate through on their way to Mexico for the winter. The weather was not entirely cooperative which is why many of the photos have a gray background. We visited the state parks affiliated with The World Birding Center. The folks were friendly and if I lived there I expect I would learn to speak Mexican Spanish since it would be an immersion community.

Choke Canyon SP is not in The Valley but is along
the way so we made a short detour to visit.
