Decatur, TX is the county seat of Wise County. My brother-in-law Jim says the representative at the Texas Republicans meetings will introduce himself at each vote as "from Wise County, where the sun sets every day." Also, craps shooters who want to roll an eight will say "eighter from Decatur" and Bob Wills has a song of the same title. We just took time to have dinner at the famous Sweet Pie restaurant and walk around downtown a bit. Regretfully I did not have my good camera with me at dinner so those photos are cell phone quality.
The next day we visited Ray Roberts Lake State Park which has two divisions.
