Balmorhea is home to the second largest spring-fed pool in Texas. Unfortunately, the CCC built-pool has recently had a structural failure so it is closed. The state is taking this time to renovate the lodge as well. There's not much to this state park without the pool, but no one seems to have a projected opening date.
