Camping at Inks Lake State Park

Able to spend a couple of days camping at Inks Lake State Park. Somehow I failed to get a photo our camp set up. Seems I mostly focused on visits from furry friends. Surprisingly we did not see one deer, armadillo, or raccoon. Are we in Texas? We went kayaking on day 2 and while away a "mini tornado", as described by our neighbor campers, came through and upended our tent set up. Fortunately  no real damage and we were able to re-establish our site.

The view from our campsite.

The park staff has done a nice job of using native plants
to provide a sense of landscaping.

Early bird gets the worm.

There are 3 families of Canada Geese in the park this year.
