From Turkey, TX on to Caprock Canyon SP. There is supposed to be a bison herd which we did not see, but there was plenty of evidence of their existence.

| In 1974 archaeologists unearthed a 10,000 year old bison butcher camp. In addition to tools there were bison leg and jaw bones arranged in a circle standing on end, with a skull set atop. Perhaps some sort of spiritual ritual? |
