So Ding Dong, TX has pretty much been absorbed into Killeen but still has a few places with their own name. It's a lot of hunting country so there are fresh purple painted posts. Sam tells me this means the same as putting up a private property sign. Also, turns out our neighbor is from Oakalla and they pronounce it o-k-a-lee. (long o and short a)
