So technically this is at home rather than travels, but we wanted to share with you. Jesters is the drama group of Highland Park United Methodist Church for teens and adults with special needs. This is their 7th season and the largest cast we have seen so far. There is a wait list to be a part of this group. The church also has worship services for families with special needs members and is planning to build a large facility to accommodate more programs. The play is the City of Heroes. The cast meets in early September and conceives the plot through conversations with the members. The script and music are written as the weekly meets and rehearsals continue. The hard work of the cast and many volunteers make this possible and give a creative voice to these loved ones. Shannon Harrison and her tireless mother, Shirley, are our dear friends.
I do not know all of the cast but Allison (basketball player) is a friend of Shannon's.

Shannon is the evil Silencer. She steels your voice.

Shannon designed and drew her own costume.

An evil person has to rub their hands together in a wicked way.

On the right, in the same colors as Shannon is her boyfriend Cormac, also a villain. They played Marva and Marvin, the evil Marvel twins.

The villains invade the radio show.

Cormac and Shannon post show.
